Handmade Eco Felt Ball Table Mat

The Auraque tablemat is handstitched from felt balls -  use it for your teapot, a plant pot mat or displaying your treasures.

Dimensions: L20xW20xD1.5cm.

Carefully hand-felted from 100% raw sheep wool with soap and water. The felt is hand rolled into in balls, dried in the sun on the workshop roof and then hand-stitched in the workshop. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence, it is renewable and biodegradable and requires relatively little water for its production. Wool has natural antibacterial properties. Auraque only use azo-free dyes for our felt.

Handmade in a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, where women hand-felt all the small wool balls, which are dried en mass in the sun and then hand-stitched together to create our coasters and rugs.

Care instructions: Spot clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Please treat with care.
